Q1: How long will I have to wait before I am matched with a mentor?
The average wait-time is between two weeks and two months.

Q2. Will I be able to choose my mentor?
No, Program Managers are responsible for matching you with the best fit mentor based on numerous factors, including all of your personal preferences.

Q3: I am not currently enrolled in a DC public or charter high school.  Can I still be matched with a mentor?
No, Mentors, Inc. will only match students who are actively enrolled in a DC public or charter high school.

Q4: I am enrolled in a GED program and not a DC public or charter high school. Can I still be matched with a mentor?
No, Mentors, Inc. only matches students who are actively enrolled in a DC public or charter high school.

Q5: Can my interview be conducted over the phone?
No, all interviews must be face-to-face and held at the Mentors, Inc. office.
