Mission
To promote the personal, academic, and career development of young adults enrolled in the District’s public high schools, through structured and enriched mentoring relationships with caring adult volunteers.
Vision
Mentors, Inc. is making a measurable, positive difference in the lives of D.C. youth and is recognized as the city’s premier mentoring provider, known for its leadership, innovation, creativity, and partnerships.
Goals
- Maintain mentor-protege pairs at capacity until the opportunity to expand.
- Rebuild the board of directors to maintain at least 14 contributing to the sustainability of the organization.
- Build a revenue base to retain and expand funding for financial health.
- Stabilize effective operations.
